Ingredients
4 Medium Sized Potatoes
4 Medium Sized Tomatoes
2 Onions
2tsp Coriander Seeds
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
2 Tsp Sesame Seeds
3-4 Green Chillies
8-10 Garlic Cloves
Small Piece Chopped Ginger
1 Bunch Coriander Leaves
2 Tbsp Oil
How To Make
Boil, cool and peel the potatoes
Dice the potatoes into small pieces
Boil, cool and peel the tomatoes and grind into fine pulp.
Finely Chop the onions and chillies
Place the coriander, sesame and cumin seeds into a frying pan (don’t add any oil) and let the seeds heat up until the fragrance is released.
Blend the garlic, green chillies, ginger coriander leaves, water and salt to a paste.
Heat oil, add chopped onions and tomato puree.
Cook on low heat
Add coriander garlic paste and sauté for some time
As fat starts separating, add potatoes and two heaped teaspoons of dry masala (coriander, cumin and sesame that have been dry roasted and ground earlier)
When the potatoes are cooked, serve hot.
